Boy's and Girl's Basketball Camp - June 10-13
June 10 will be from Noon-3:00pm and June 11-13 from 9:00am-Noon
Grades 7th-12th (entering into Fall '14) There will be individual instruction in the techniques of offense and defense at all positions. Instruction on shooting, passing, de-fense, dribbling, and teamwork will be emphasized. Campers will receive a t-shirt, prizes for contests, and certificate of completion.
Cost $40

Boy's and Girl's Basketball Camp II - June 16-20 from 9:00am-Noon
Grades 4th-6th (entering into Fall '14) Learn all fundamentals of basketball: including shooting, passing, defense, dribbling, rules of the game, and good sportsmanship. Campers will receive a t-shirt, prizes for contests, and certificate of completion.
Cost $50

Sports Media Camp - June 16-20 from 12:30pm-4:30pm
Grades 7th-12th (entering into Fall '14) Participants will receive a T-Shirt, evaluation form, and certificate of completion. You will be instructed by WDAN Radio Sports Announcers, and have nationally known special guest speakers. Instruction will consist of interviewing, play-by-play, sports writing, video editing, public ad- dress announcing, TV studio work and even a special field trip. Participants will get two nights of broadcast experience at Danville Stadium This is a nationally recognized summer program that has taught future broad- casters, writers and sports media professionals for the past 17 years. Attention girls, the sports media field is wide open and a career could begin at DACC this summer!

Meet the DACC Coaches

DaJuan Gouard just completed his 1st season as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at DACC. Previously he played NCAA Division I basketball and then continued with a professional basketball career. Coach Gouard then spent 3 years as the top assistant at DACC before taking over as Head Coach. He has worked/directed camps throughout the Midwest and Internationally for over 15 years.

Kyle Bent just completed his 3rd season as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at DACC. He has coached the University Illinois women's club basketball team to a national championship in 2010, and has worked nu- merous basketball camps.
