Boy's and Girl's Basketball Camp
June 5-9 from 9am-Noon

For students entering grades 4-12. Students will be assigned into groups based on skill level.

Learn all fundamentals of basketball including:  shooting, passing, defense, dribbling, rules of the game, and good sportsmanship.  Campers will receive a t-shirt, prizes for contests, and certificate of completion.
Cost $50

About the coaches...
Head Coach DaJuan Gouard just completed his  season at the helm of the Men's basketball program.  He has compiled over 75 wins in his 4 years while continuing to produce nationally ranked teams.  Previously he played NCAA Division I basketball then continued with a professional basketball career.  He has worked/directed camps throughout the Midwest and interanationally for over 16 years.

Miranda Payne, Women's Head Coach at DACC, just completed her 2nd season with the Women's basketball team and 1st season as Head Coach.  Orginally from Pennsylvania, Coach Payne spent 3 years as an Assistant coach at NCAA Division II Shippensburg University (PA) before making her way to Danville.  During college, she spent 2 years playing at an NJCAA Division II program in Maryland then transferred and played at an NCAA Dvision II program in Pennsylvania.  She has spent over 10 years working and instructing athletes of all ages at various camps and clinics in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Illinois.

Sports Media Camp
June 19-23 from 1:00-4:00pm

Participants will be instructed by members of the Neuhoff Media staff including sports announcers from WDAN and VermilionCountyFirst.com. Instruction will consist of interviewing, play-by-play, sports writing, video editing, public address announcing, TV studio work and student will een participate in broadcasting an actual college baseball game.  This is a nationally recognized summer program that has taught future broadcasters, writers and sports media professionals for more than 20 years. The camp is for boys and girls entering grades 7-12.
