Doug Showers, Sophomore, competed in the 2005 NJCAA Golf
Championships in Scottsboro, Alabama. Doug is now playing golf
and attending
Southern Illinois University @ Carbondale.
2004
Chris Dukes, freshman, finished 58th out of 142 golfers at the NJCAA
National Golf Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona. Dukes is a captain on the
2004 squad.
Mike Dyas, sophomore, finished 94th out of 142 golfers at the NJCAA
National Golf Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona. Dyas is the first DACC
golfer under Coach Hensgen to make back-to-back championships.
Kai Kulmala, sophomore, finished 94th out of 142 golfers at the
NJCAA
National Golf Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona. Kulmala is now playing
golf at Olivet-Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois
2003
Mike Dyas, freshman from Kissimmee, FL, finished 38th out of 141
golfers at the NJCAA National Golf Championships in Phoenix, AZ. Mike
averaged 75 over the four round tournament.
Buddy King, Danville, IL was named NJCAA Academic All American with
a
GPA of 3.65.
2002
DACC Golf Ranked 10th in the Nation Following Fall 2002 Schedule
Adam Marshall, freshman from Orleans, IN, finished 34th out of 140
golfers at the NJCAA National Golf Championships in Phoenix, AZ. Adam
averaged 74.5 over the four round tournament.
Nick Bucher, Danville, IL, was named NJCAA Academic All American
with
a GPA of 3.65. Nick is now playing golf at the University of St.
Francis
in Joliet, Illinois.
2001
Nick Hunt, Lapel, IN, finished his career at Danville Area Community
College by participating in the NJCAA National Golf Championships in
College Station, Texas. Nick went on to play golf at Marion College in
Indianapolis, IN.
2000
Mike Smith, Danville, IL, finished his career at Danville Area
Community College with a 19th place finish at the NJCAA National Golf
Championships in College Station, Texas. Mike went on to play golf at
Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL.
