Getting Started with Program Assessment

In order to implement assessment effectively within a program, it is essential to plan out the process carefully. Program assessment implementers should make sure to include all four of the following stages in their planning:

• developing program goals and objectives
• developing/selecting assessment measures
• reviewing and reporting assessment results
• making changes based on program assessment results
