DACC Grading Scale
The letter grading system at DACC uses a 4.0 scale as follows:
| A | Excellent | 4 grade points per semester hour | B | Good | 3 grade points per semester hour | C | Fair | 2 grade points per semester hour | D | Passable | 1 grade points per semester hour | F | Failure | 0 grade points per semester hour |
The following grades do not affect your grade point average:
| W | Official Withdrawal: Withdrawal of a student prior to the final week of classes. Check with the Registration Office for official dates each semester. |
| I | Incomplete: This is a temporary grade. All incomplete work involved with a temporary "I" grade will be performed within 30 calendar days after the end of the term so that a grade may be recorded. |
| AU | Audit: Students who audit a course will receive a "AU" grade. |
| S | Satisfactory: Used in some courses |
| U | Unsatisfactory: Used in some courses |
