Student & Exchange Visitor Program Fee:

All individuals receiving a SEVIS Form I-20 (as of 9/1/04) is required to pay a $200.00 fee. The purpose of the fee is to cover the costs for the continued operation of the Student and Exchange Visitor Program. The SEVIS fee must be paid and fully processed before the applicant arrives at the consulate for the visa interview. Starting with the Summer 2010 semester, the International Student tuition rate will be $175.00 per credit hour. Students are also responsible for course fees (if applicable), textbooks, supplies, and personal living expenses. See below for an academic year:

* Student Athletes are also required to pay for their own health insurance. DACC does not offer student insurance. For pre-application purposes, please add $1,000 (an estimated amount) to the $13,000 total to cover private health insurance costs.

* Please note the living expenses are based on a twelve (12) month academic year. Students who do not plan on remaining in the United States for the full year can reduce their room and board and personal expenses accordingly.

* Some expenses may be deducted if student can show other means of support (i.e., host family, scholarship, etc.).
