Certificate Requirements

Danville Area Community College will award certificates to students who have completed all required course work and who have earned a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 (on a 5.0 scale) for all required courses. The Constitution Requirement of the Illinois State School code, the human relations course requirement, and degree post-testing are all waived for the issuance of certificates. Certificate students are eligible to participate in the annual graduation ceremony.

To submit a Certificate Evaluation request, go to the Records Office (Vermilion Hall) or retrieve the attached form and return it, completed, to the Records Office.

Certificates will be mailed to students at the end of each semester (per requests submitted and approved.) Certificates completed are also noted on the student's academic transcript.
