Reasons a Course May Not Transfer to a Four-Year School


  1. The course is a Career course
  2. The associate degree is a Career degree
  3. The course is remedial/non-degree credit
  4. The course was failed
  5. A grade of D was earned in a "tool course" for the major
  6. The student transfers to a college that does not accept ANY grades of "D"
  7. The student did not complete the transfer associate degree or IAI Gen. Ed. Core
  8. The student changed their major
  9. The student changed their transfer school
  10. The student did not meet with an advisor prior to registration to confirm transferability
