Transfer Admission Requirements

  1. Cumulative Grade Point Average must be 2.0 (4.0 scale) to receive A.S.A. degree.  Unconditional admission to Lakeview College of Nursing requires a 2.5 grade point average (4.0 scale).
  2. Personal references
  3. Completion of Health Requirements and current CPR certification.  (Certification can be obtained by completing HLTH 102/Standard First Aid and Personal Safety at DACC).
NOTES
  1. Credit in or exemption from MATH 105 (Intermediate Algebra) is a prerequisite for CHEM 101 (high school chemistry or CHEM 100 also recommended for CHEM 101).
  2. See Counselor or Advisor for Social/Behavioral Sciences.  Must choose from Social Science discipline other than Psychology.  SOCY 100, Intro to Sociology, is recommended.
