NOTES

    1.  ISU has initiated new graduation requirements effective Fall 1999 for first-time or readmitted students. They now require two additional classes that are in                 addition to general education requirements. The DACC classes that can be used to fulfill these requirements are POLI 160, GEOG 134, or ANTH 107 for all         majors, and AGRI 180 or BIOL 101. If none of these classes are desired by the student, a general elective may be taken at DACC (if necessary) to achieve             60 hours and the A.S.A. degree, and the two additional classes may be taken at ISU, where there are more choices from which to select.

    2.   Effective Fall 1992, new students or re-entering students absent more than two years and seeking an A.S.A. degree are required to take at least one course           with human relations content. See your counselor for a list of courses that fulfill this requirement.

    3.   All graduates of the College of Arts and Sciences must satisfy a foreign language requirement that may be met by three (3) years of one foreign language in               high school or completion of the second semester or higher of college-level foreign language with a grade of "C" or better.
