Transfer Admission Requirements

NOTES
  1. ISU has initiated new graduation requirements effective Fall, 1999 for first-time or readmitted students.  They now require two additional classes that are in addition to general education requirements.  The DACC classes that can be used to fulfill these requirements are POLI 160, GEOG 134, or ANTH 107 for all majors, and:
for this major.  If none of these classes are desired by the student, a general elective may be taken at DACC (if necessary) to achieve 60 hours and the A.S.A. degree, and the two additional classes may be taken at ISU, where there are more choices from which to select..
  2. DACC recommends a three (3) hour course in Third World or Non-Western Culture, either in Humanities or Social Science.
  3. Effective Fall 1992, new students or re-entering students absent more than two years and seeking an A.S.A. degree are required to take at least one course with human relations content.  See your counselor for list of courses that fulfill this requirement.
