POST-REGISTRATION CHECKLIST

Bills & Schedules:
You will receive a bill and schedule in the mail approximately two weeks before payment is due. The due date is on the bill -- be sure you are aware of this due date! Even if you have financial aid or some other type of scholarship, payment is not automatic. YOU have to finalize third-party payments through the Accounts Receivable office (217-443-8592). Failure to finalize payment by the due date may result in your classes being dropped.

A New Way to Pay! Check out the FACTS Payment Plan, our new, interest-free method to help you finance tuition and fees by spreading the payment out over the semester. Find out more information and/or sign-up for the payment plan by going to the DACC website (www.dacc.edu) and clicking on the "e-Cashier FACTS Tuition Payment Plan" under the "For Students" section.

Transcripts:
You should make sure that the Records Office (Vermilion Hall, 1st Floor) has a copy of your final high school transcript or GED scores. If you have attended another university, you should also have an academic transcript sent to the Records Office and a financial transcript sent to the Financial Aid Office (Vermilion Hall) if you plan to apply for financial aid.

Textbooks:
You may get your textbooks and lab manuals from the DACC Bookstore (Lincoln Hall, lower level) or visit our online bookstore at www.dacc.bkstr.com. Bring a copy of your schedule to the bookstore so they can determine what textbooks you need. Your instructors will inform you of any additional materials needed in the classroom; and most of these items can be purchased at the bookstore. Authorizations for Financial Aid charges will be available towards the beginning of each semester.

How to Read Your Schedule:
You will need to know which days your classes meet and where they are located. Your schedule indicates which day or days each class meets. The days of the week are abbreviated as follows:
