This program is designed to provide students with the skills and expertise to obtain entry-level positions as Health Information Technicians in a variety of settings. The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) in cooperation with the Council on Accreditations of the American Health Information Management Association, the students will be eligible to take the National Accreditation Examination.
