Association accreditation review. Conducted "Train the Trainer"

Wrote
applications that won the college AACC Excellence in Education Parnell
Tech Prep/Associate Degree Award and U.S. Dept. of Education
"Excellence
in Tech Prep Education" Award. Wrote a grant proposal that won
$20,000
in A.D.A.M. software. Have written multiple award applications for
faculty.

- Built a completely inactive
chapter into a
Five-Star
Chapter in a single year and have maintained it.
- Appointed
as Service Learning expert to the International Honors Committee at the
request of Phi Theta Kappa's Executive Director, Dec. 2007. Two-year
term extended by one year. Will serve as a Faculty Scholar in this
capacity through 2010. Also help determine new International Honors
Study Topic, International Service Program, and changes in the Hallmark
Award process.
- Selected as
Phi Theta Kappa Faculty Scholar 2003, 2004, 2006, and 2007.
- Serve
on Illinois Advisory Council, 2005-2008 (appointed to second term
summer 2007). See advisor awards in later section.
- Pi Omega Chapter
has consistently won major awards at the regional and international
levels since their first competition in 2002, including Fourth
Runner-Up to Most Distinguished Chapter, 2008.
- Chapter served as 2004 Illinois
Regional President Chapter and hosted

Illinois Regional Convention; served as 2004-2005 Illinois Regional
Secretary
Chapter and hosted Illinois Regional website. 2007-08 Chapter
